Ahh, the little black dress. I received this one from Mod Cloth and was told to make it my own. And so I did! I shortened it about 5 inches and then added another lace dress underneath. Really loved how it came together and you can see the how-to for this look in the video below. Enjoy! ;)

I really love the idea of wearing a sheer top- so sexy and if done correctly, so class! I bought this top from a designer sale in London and kept it in my closet for literally two years before finally having the confidence and vision of how I would wear it. I paired it with a new purchase- a navy mini from the Uniqlo and Jil Sander collaboration.
I wore this outfit to a Green Movement Social Exposure Event last night, held at the Time Hotel in NYC. As a member of press I was lucky enough to gain backstage access and speak to the featured artists. One was the lovely Rachael Sage.
